And did you know ...

Poles Apart died today. No one shows up, no one complains :-)

I woke to the sound of drums. And, the morning sun streamed in.
I turned, and looked at you. And, suddenly, all, but a bitter residue, slipped away.

I then realised.
It wasn't only me, you were running from.

And did we tell you the name of the game, boy?
We call it Riding the Gravy Train.

"The rain fell slow
Down on all the roofs of uncertainty
I though of you
And the years and all the sadness
Fell away from me

And did you know ...
I never though you'd lose that light in your eyes"
-- Poles Apart, by Pink Floyd, in the album "The Division Bell"
